SL
Spyder Gravity Boots
The Most Comfortable Boots On The Market
Who
should use SL Spyder
Gravity Boots? Gravity Boots are required for use with EZ-Up Inversion
Rack or Hang Ups Bar. Additionally, anyone looking for added comfort
when using the F5000III CV Inversion Table can use the SL Spyder
Gravity Boots, and anyone with the F500III Inversion Table can use
the gravity boots with a CV kit .
The comfort
of any boot is a function of three features:
Fit
SL Spyder Gravity Boots
provide an ankle-conforming fit through two "fine-tuning"
buckles with micro-adjusting ratchets which fit the exact size and
taper of your ankle. You can custom fit each boot quickly; a custom
fit typically takes less than 20 seconds per boot. SL Spyder Gravity
Boots are offered in a left and right boot to provide a custom shape
of each leg. This insures that maximum padding is positioned where
it is most needed on each leg.
Padding
The SL Spyder boot liners
are a special blend of 5/8" foam designed to give maximum comfort
with minimum compression. The unique feature of our padding system
is the boot shell around it. Manufactured of a tough yet pliable
blend of Du Pont Hytrel, the flexible shell minimizes any pressure
points.
Design
The unique SL Spyder
Calf Loops offer four advantages:
1. Reduces the loads
on the ankles and prevents the front edge of the boot from putting
painful pressure on the top of your foot.
2. Offers a second
hand-hold to help you get back up to the bar.
3. Puts a 2¼
bend in the knees which for most people is more comfortable
than inverting with straight legs.
4. Calf loops are detachable
so the boots can be used by shorter adults and children
Unique
Design
Light Weight:
The SL (super light) Spyder Gravity Boots weigh only 1 lb 3 oz
per boot.
Hinge Free Design:
No moving pieces assures a long, trouble-free boot life.
Strength: The
bar hook is pressure molded of a tough nylon-glass alloy. Lab
tests of the hook strength have shown that they are capable of
supporting loads of more than 1,600 lb. per hook.
Self-locking buckle:
For added safety, our Gravity Boots will not release even when
the lever arm is in the open position. A release tab must first
be depressed to release the buckle strap.
Five-Year Limited Warranty
Shipping Weight: 5
lb.
CAUTION:
Before using the SL Spyder Gravity Boots with any inversion table,
be sure to read the manufacturer's instructions on how to modify
the table for use with gravity boots, customers with the regular
F5000III table can only use gravity boots if a conversion kit is
purchased along with the boots. The use of gravity boots is only
recommended with approved inversion racks or products designed for
inversion.
Disclaimer:
As with any fitness program, people should consult with their medical
advisor before beginning inversion therapy. In general, contraindications
for inversion are for health problems related to eye pressure, heart
or circulatory problems, spinal injury, or bone weaknesses or fractures.

Ez-Up
Rack
What
is an EZ-Up Rack?
The EZ-Up Rack is dual bar inversion rack which mounts in your doorway.
This wonderful exercise device also doubles as a chin-up bar and
literally requires no floor space.
Who
should use the EZ-Up Rack? This product is ideal for the physically
fit athlete who is looking for a way to decompress after a workout.
How
do I use the EZ-Up Rack?
The EZ-Up Rack is used with Gravity Boots to invert at a full 90¼
angle. While inverted, you can conduct inverted sit-ups, squats,
and rotational stretches. Two features of the Hang Ups EZ-Up Rack
make it unique.
Locking Brackets
ensure your safety. Our priority is your safety. There have been
a few isolated incidents where children jumping up to catch the
rack have un-intentionally unhooked the rack from its "U"
shaped holder. The chance of this occurring has been eliminated
by our snapping locking lock bracket, which is standard with all
units.

Flex
Clubs
"The clubs are better than standard weights because they
build full range of motion, rather than pure bulk, in the shoulders.
Linear weights have limited value, because the shoulder was
made to move in circles. [FLEX Clubs] reawaken the shoulder
muscles by reestablishing full range of movement in the shoulder.
That also benefits the elbows and the wrists, which move in
concert with the shoulder."

Fitness and Health Promotion

Club swinging originated in India, developed by soldiers
as a method of improving strength, agility, balance and physical
ability. During the annexation of India, British officers
witnessed the warriors' graceful motions and noted, "besides
the great recommendation of simplicity, the Indian club practice
possesses the essential property of expanding the chest and
exercising every muscle of the body."1
In 1914, the U.S. Army Manual of Physical Training noted,
"The effect of these exercises, when performed with light
clubs, is chiefly a neural one, hence they are primary factors
in the development of grace, coordination and rhythm... they
tend [to] supple the muscles and [to articulate] the shoulders
and...the upper and fore arms and wrist..."2
The shoulder girdle is one of the most moveable, but most
fragile, areas of the body. Shoulder strength should be complemented
by flexibility, and swinging with FLEX Clubs can improve both.
Although a lost art for a number of decades, club swinging
has reemerged thanks to students at Northern Illinois University
and a physical training program of the U.S. Army at Fort Benning,
GA.
